It is a sensor that you put inside your mailbox to get alerted when mail is delivered. The sensor sends you an alert when you have a mail and works from any distance. The device does have a proximity sensor and a GSM model. It is compatible with smartphones and regular ones.

Postybell will have an Android app. An iOS version will be available in the future. You can monitor multiple mailboxes with this. The device sends you real-time alerts.
